English 4, Post 8 [FINAL], 'English Language challenges

The truth is that this experience of writing blogs is relatively new for me because ever since I can remember in all my jobs, whether at school or university, they were always doing tests or delivering lengthy reports on some topic, so this writing blogs became something. which I really like to do every week. This new method of evaluation is quite pleasant and even relaxing, I would say that we can talk about ourselves, about experiences that each one of us has had, our tastes, something that seems important to us to emphasize on some subject makes us become the protagonist of our evaluation method. evaluation that is not marked by who responds better a sheet of paper with alternatives. English at the university is something that has always been quite overshadowed by larger subjects such as physical chemistry or pharmacology, always leaving it for the end of the day when the truth is that nobody has the courage to be in class anymore, but with you you have been a very good experience,

English 4, Post 7, 'Changes to my study programme'

The truth is that I had never thought about a change that I would make to the faculty or to the study program of my career because the truth is that I had already gotten used to this methodology, but without a doubt I have some suggestions to make. The truth is that in terms of subjects, I would not remove any because I feel that they are all important in due time, but if I would move some from one year to another, such as biology, I would move it to the first semester of the first year in order to have all the main subjects from the start of the race. As for the methodologies that the faculty has to evaluate students, I find it "stressful" and I am not referring to the level and difficulty that it has since we are at a professional level and we have to have challenging evaluations, but I do not like the idea of having only 2 tests per semester and that with that it is evaluated if you can pass the field or not, I feel that if there were 3 tests and a collaborative work to g

English 4, Post 6, 'Time Travel to the future

The truth is that every time someone mentions time travel they always mention that they would like to travel to the past, maybe because they forgot to do something, maybe because they regret the decisions they made, or maybe the ones they didn't make, out of nostalgia, because they miss someone, anyway, all these options are equally valid and probably if they gave me the option to travel to the past I would also do it, but I feel that it would be much more interesting to travel to the future. Seeing how my life changes in 1, 5, 10, 20 years would be something I would like to see, not to be able to change something but to see the kind of person I will become, to see if I could find love or start a family, Meeting my own children when I was young, leaving aside all the temporal paradoxes, would be something super interesting and I feel that it would help me understand them better. No, yes, I would travel to a specific place since in 10 years many of the things we know will have chan

English 4, Post 5, 'My future job'

If I had to think about my future job, I always imagine myself working in a laboratory creating medicines and managing their production. I really love everything related to laboratories and the idea that with one compound I can create another totally different one with unique properties. This job is one that is not worked outdoors but indoors, since it would be very dangerous not to have the security measures nearby in case an accident occurs. The truth is that more than traveling for work, I would like to travel to study a course related to a subject that I like and thus be able to get a doctorate and continue doing what I love, but if it gave me the option of going abroad to work in an important laboratory I would not hesitate for a second and I would go there. Salary is something that I don't really care much about since I would be doing what I love, so as long as they pay me a decent salary for the work I do, I would feel very happy.

English 4, Post 4, 'Themed Free Post [II]

For this post I would like to talk about a manga series (Japanese comic) that for me is one of the best series that I have read in my life and that I have read and watched many animes, I am talking about "Blue lock". Blue lock is a soccer spokon (anime focused on sports) that is about our protagonist "yoichi isagi" who, after losing a match with his soccer club that would qualify them for the final, is summoned to participate in a program to create the best striker in the world which is called "Blue lock". At first one would think that it is one of those typical spokon animes that focus on teamwork and how our protagonist improves over time and meeting colleagues and friends with whom he will lose and win, strengthening his relationship until reaching the final, but you could not be more wrong since the central focus of the manga is the Ego and the selfishness of the players. One of the things that I like the most is that from the beginning we are told th

English 4, Post 3, 'Themed Free Post - Carrer Related [hopefully]'

If I had to choose something related to my career I think it would be the importance of the pharmaceutical chemist in our society and in our current health care system. To begin with I would like to say that the pharmaceutical chemist is a career that is undervalued because when anyone is asked what they think the role of the pharmaceutical chemist is, they always go back to "selling drugs" when the reality could not be more different. The pharmaceutical chemist is responsible for managing the good production of medicines, establishing the respective quality standards so as not to have mediocre products, he/she is also in charge of running the pharmacies and managing the correct use of each medicine in order to provide the best possible care to the patient. And it is only the part of medicines, there is also the area of cosmetology that is responsible for creating and selling products suitable for each type of skin and thus not be able to cause any harm to people, or also th

English 4, Post 2, 'Choosing between: (a) The best holidays or (b) The best concert'

If I had to choose one of the best vacations I ever had in my life, if not the best, it would be when I was about 10 years old and went to visit my grandparents in the south. Ever since I can remember I have gone to visit my grandparents who live in Valdivia for a long time, sometimes I went alone because my mom and dad had to work or sometimes my mom accompanied me, but this time I went with my mom. We went there for about 2 months (January and February) as always to get away from the pollution and noise in Santiago and have our deserved time to relax, I remember that every day without fail we went to the beach to eat ice cream and spend the afternoon swimming in the sea and when it was getting dark we went to eat sopaipillas with soup to pass the cold and tiredness of the day. Those were definitely my best vacations because I could be a happy kid who just ran, slept and ate and I didn't have to worry about more things like I do now in college and if I could I would like to go ba
