English 4, Post 2, 'Choosing between: (a) The best holidays or (b) The best concert'

 If I had to choose one of the best vacations I ever had in my life, if not the best, it would be when I was about 10 years old and went to visit my grandparents in the south.

Ever since I can remember I have gone to visit my grandparents who live in Valdivia for a long time, sometimes I went alone because my mom and dad had to work or sometimes my mom accompanied me, but this time I went with my mom.

We went there for about 2 months (January and February) as always to get away from the pollution and noise in Santiago and have our deserved time to relax, I remember that every day without fail we went to the beach to eat ice cream and spend the afternoon swimming in the sea and when it was getting dark we went to eat sopaipillas with soup to pass the cold and tiredness of the day.

Those were definitely my best vacations because I could be a happy kid who just ran, slept and ate and I didn't have to worry about more things like I do now in college and if I could I would like to go back to live in those vacations again.

Post 1: Who am I?

 Hello my name is Carlos Gonzalez and I am 19 years old, currently i study Chemistry and Pharmacy at "Universidad de Chile", I love study this career and I hope to work in the future in Laboratory. Right now i live in Santiago de Chile since very young, but I was born in "Puerto Montt", about my family, parents are separated for this reason i live with my mom and her husband, i saw my dad every weekend, however,for the pandemic  i can´t see to much. My hobbies are watch anime, read manga and comic, play League of legends among others games. About my native city, Puerto Montt is in south of chile, is a cold city an it rains a lot and this like me.

Post 7: An expert / person in your field that you admire

One of the people I admire the most is Marie Curie, I may not know exactly the field of chemistry and pharmacy but in the area of ​​research science. I chose this person because I think that she is one of the most decisive people that science had between the late 1800s and early 1900s since she did not get carried away by the esticmas of the society of the time. We all know that women have had a long struggle to be on the same level as men when she always dived of being that way. and she is the perfect example of her since she was carried away by what she loved and the discoveries that she made were too important for the future of science. One of the greatest discoveries of her was that of radioactivity with her husband in addition to the elements of radium and polonium that in the future would be very relevant for medicine in people suffering from cancer, Marie Curie was born in Warsaw (Poland) on November 7, 1867 and died in Passy (France) on July 4, 1934.
