English 4, Post 3, 'Themed Free Post - Carrer Related [hopefully]'

 If I had to choose something related to my career I think it would be the importance of the pharmaceutical chemist in our society and in our current health care system.

To begin with I would like to say that the pharmaceutical chemist is a career that is undervalued because when anyone is asked what they think the role of the pharmaceutical chemist is, they always go back to "selling drugs" when the reality could not be more different.

The pharmaceutical chemist is responsible for managing the good production of medicines, establishing the respective quality standards so as not to have mediocre products, he/she is also in charge of running the pharmacies and managing the correct use of each medicine in order to provide the best possible care to the patient.

And it is only the part of medicines, there is also the area of cosmetology that is responsible for creating and selling products suitable for each type of skin and thus not be able to cause any harm to people, or also the area of research in which every day dozens of "new" and "old" products are written.

I feel that we need to educate people so that they are more aware of how important we are as a profession.
